This summer, HIA students stepped into the heart of healthcare at Ton Yen General Hospital for a meaningful four-day service-learning journey. Moving beyond textbook knowledge, our students immersed themselves in the daily pulse of medical care, exploring the profound balance between public health, clinical dedication, and human connection. Whether observing the fast-paced teamwork of medical professionals or discovering the deep meaning behind ethical patient care, they experienced firsthand how empathy and professionalism intertwine to support and heal a community.

Throughout the program, the true beauty was seeing our students connect with the hospital community with open hearts, maturity, and a genuine eagerness to help. Their vibrant energy and respectful presence brought a touch of gentle warmth to both patient areas and medical staff alike. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to everyone at Ton Yen General Hospital—including the executive leadership, healthcare professionals, clinical instructors, and dedicated volunteer partners. 今年夏天，Hsinchu International Academy 康乃薾國際實驗國高中（HIA）的學生們走進東元綜合醫院，展開了為期四天的醫療服務學習之旅。這段旅程讓課堂上的知識化為真實的感動，孩子們穿梭在醫療的前線，用心體會現代醫療體系的運作，更在日常的醫療照護中，看見了公共衛生與人文關懷的緊密連結。從醫護人員專業高效的團隊協作，到對每一個生命的尊重與守護，學生們在快節奏的環境中，深刻感受到了醫學背後那份溫暖而堅定的力量。
