During HIA’s Professional Development Day, our teachers stepped back from their daily classroom routines to examine how we support student learning and how we can continue to grow as a school. 💙
In the morning, faculty worked in collaborative groups as part of our WASC accreditation self-study. Teachers first recorded their own reflections, then shared perspectives, discussed strengths and areas for growth, and developed initial group responses to key questions about our school. They also identified evidence to support their findings and questions that need further exploration. 🤝
After lunch, teachers worked within their departments to review and update curriculum documentation, strengthening the connections between what students learn, how we teach, and how we assess their progress. 📚
This thoughtful work helps us build a more consistent and purposeful learning experience for our students. Thank you to our educators for bringing their voices, expertise, and care to HIA’s ongoing improvement. 🌱

在 HIA 教師專業發展日，老師們暫時從日常教學中抽身，一起檢視學校如何支持學生學習，並思考我們可以如何持續進步。💙
上午，教師團隊分組進行 WASC 國際認證自我評鑑工作。每位老師先記錄自己的觀察與想法，再透過分享與討論，梳理學校的優勢及待精進之處，並針對重要議題形成初步的小組回應。團隊也共同整理支持這些觀察的佐證資料，以及需要進一步探究的問題。🤝
下午，老師們以學科部門為單位，檢視並更新課程文件，讓學生的學習內容、教師的教學方式與學習評量之間有更清楚的連結。📚
這些扎實的專業工作，幫助我們為學生建立更連貫、更有方向的學習體驗。感謝每一位老師投入觀點、專業與關懷，陪伴 HIA 持續成長。🌱
