Thank you for your interest in leading learning at Hsinchu International Academy (HIA)!
Teacher recruitment at HIA led by Mr. Christian Choquette, Head of School, who takes a hands-on approach in getting to know every educator who joins our community. We are looking for leaders of learning—educators who demonstrate initiative, eagerness to collaborate, and a genuine passion for helping students and colleagues grow.
HIA offers a modern, welcoming, and technology-rich campus environment, where class sizes are capped at 25 students to ensure personal attention and meaningful learning experiences. We provide a competitive salary and housing allowance, paid over 12 months, and an academic calendar of 184 instructional days that includes time off for both Taiwanese and American holidays.
We are committed to building a collaborative, student-centered, and reflective teaching team—educators who inspire curiosity and confidence in their students while continuing to refine and elevate their own practice. We believe in teaching the whole child, where academic success is deeply connected to social-emotional growth, creativity, and character development.
HIA recruits year-round and welcomes applications from caring, dedicated, and growth-minded teachers. If you are interested in joining our community, please complete the Teacher Application Form above. Our leadership team reviews applications on an ongoing basis and will reach out should a suitable opportunity become available.
Each year, HIA also participates in the TAI-Fair Teacher Recruitment Fair, where international and bilingual schools in Taiwan connect with talented educators from around the world.
