🏕️ 2025 HIA Outdoor Adventure Week 🏕️

Last Thursday and Friday, under clear blue skies, the entire HIA community embarked on a two-day, one-night outdoor adventure experience. Students traveled to Camp Taiwan and Outward Bound Taiwan for a fully immersive outdoor education program featuring giant swings, archery, river tracing, zip-lining, rope courses, physical training, river trekking, and hiking, as well as cooking their own meals and pitching their own tents.

This was far more than just a camping trip, it was a thoughtfully designed learning experience that challenged students to problem-solve, collaborate, and step beyond their comfort zones. With laughter echoing across the mountains and rivers, students faced fears, supported each other, and developed teamwork and leadership skills under the guidance of coaches and teachers, transforming classroom concepts into real-world practice.

For many students, this was their first time participating in such a wide range of outdoor challenges and their first full immersion in nature. HIA believes that experiences like this foster courage, confidence, and resilience, empowering students to grow stronger, become more adaptable, and face future challenges with determination.

🏕️ HIA 全校戶外挑戰週 🏕️

上週四、五，HIA全校師生在藍天白雲下展開兩天一夜的沉浸式戶外冒險學習。HIA學生們分別前往 Camp Taiwan 和 Outward Bound Taiwan，參與精心設計的體驗課程，包括巨型鞦韆、射箭、河流追蹤、高空滑索、繩索挑戰、體能訓練、河流徒步旅行與健行，完成野外料理與帳棚搭建。

這不僅僅是一場露營活動，而是一套完整的戶外教育課程，讓學生全程參與、主動解決問題，並在挑戰過程中培養堅韌與自信。陽光映照下，學生們跨越恐懼、互相協作，在教練與師長的引導下學習領導與合作，將書本中的概念轉化為真實世界的經驗。

對許多學生而言，這是人生第一次親身參與如此多元的戶外挑戰，也是第一次完全沉浸於自然環境中。這樣的經歷能幫助學生走出舒適圈，培養面對未知的勇氣，並把學習延伸到課堂之外，轉化成面對未來挑戰的力量與韌性。
