🎤【College Counseling Talk｜Dr. Eric Yang on Academia and Entrepreneurial Mindsets】

On April 24, HIA had the honor of welcoming Dr. Eric Yang, CEO of Inti Labs, for an inspiring college counseling session with our Grade 10 and 11 students. As a scientist with a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from UCLA and postdoctoral training at the prestigious Harvard Medical School, Dr. Yang has since become a trailblazing entrepreneur in the biotech industry. He shared his dynamic career journey—from academia to startup innovation—offering students valuable insights into the wide-ranging possibilities that lie ahead in their own future paths.

With warmth and enthusiasm, Dr. Yang spoke about his experiences navigating academia, innovation, and entrepreneurship. He encouraged students to pursue what they love, keep learning, and take action. The session was highly engaging, with students asking thoughtful questions, all of which Dr. Yang answered with care and candor.

Following the talk, many students approached Dr. Yang to continue the conversation, demonstrating strong interest and resonance with his insights. The session not only sparked curiosity but also expanded students’ perspectives on how to prepare for the future.

HIA 很榮幸於 4 月 24 日邀請 Inti Labs 執行長 Dr. Eric Yang 蒞校演講，為高一與高二學生帶來一場深具啟發性的講座。身為具備 UCLA 生物化學博士背景的科學家，並曾於享譽國際的哈佛醫學院從事博士後研究，同時也是投身生醫創新的創業家，Dr. Yang 透過自身豐富的經歷，帶領學生們一窺未來多元職涯的可能性。

在演講中，Dr. Yang 以親切且充滿熱情的方式，分享他如何在不同階段投入學術研究、技術創新與創業實踐，並鼓勵學生勇於追求熱愛、持續學習、積極行動。現場氣氛熱烈，學生提問踴躍，Dr. Yang 也都細心回應，毫無保留地傳遞他的思維與觀點。

講座結束後，多位學生主動上前與 Dr. Yang 深入交流，展現對講座內容的高度共鳴與好奇心。這場講座不僅激發學生的探索精神，更拓展了他們對未來的想像與準備。
